I am an experienced event producer, curator, and music archivist and am always interested in learning about new projects to work on and collaborate with. I have an MA from California State University Long Beach and have spent many years working for the Smithsonian Institution and Dischord Records (among others). I have experience managing events that last for 10+ days and see 750,000 visitors to smaller community events and concerts. I work in an interactive collaborative setting to present events and create content with local artists, community leaders, and partners. These partners have included Apple, National Park Service, DC Public Library and the Mayor’s Office. Programs have ranged from a discussion and performance on d/Deaf music, to neighborhood walking tours, to recording oral histories, to podcasts on female DJs, to producing go-go concerts at a roller rink.
